PROJECT BACKGROUND

Fluidra were a Spanish organisation specialising in the construction of swimming pools. They also had a subsidiary organisation in the UK, Astral Pools.

The organisation were looking to bid for the provision of the ‘warm up’ pools for the London Olympics.

This consisted to two Olympic size pools to the same specification as the main pool but minus the main stadium.

WHAT WE DID

Paul Winter Consulting Ltd. was commissioned to provide support and guidance on UK regulations for construction projects, as well as provide support in producing the pre-qualification and bid documentation.

This project required detailed pricing and the creation of detailed cost plans along with method / installation statements.
