The team at PWCL was commissioned, first to clarify the existing position of the anaerobic digestion plant to best identify and understand areas for improvement; followed by a technical review of proposed upgrading works, taking into account any constraints or requirements, such as maximum allowable maize contents, increased ‘waste’ manures, power from crops limitations, maximum outputs, minimum feedstocks for specific output and digestate offtake reduction.
