Concept development, engineering design, and contract structuring for waste processing facilities

What We Did

Alternative energy project

processing over 750,000 tonnes of waste into renewable energy

PWCL developed engineering concepts and commercial frameworks for multi-site waste-to-fuel facilities, each processing over 100,000 tpa of MSW and producing SRF pellets.

Project Background

PWCL led the development of a series of conceptual waste processing facilities for Biocentre Technology, designed to handle in excess of 100,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste (MSW) per site and produce refuse-derived fuel (SRF) pellets.

These facilities were envisioned as integrated systems that combine waste processing with fuel recovery, delivering both environmental and commercial value in a single built form.

What we did

Our team managed the conceptual engineering for each site, developing layouts, processing flow models, and structural considerations that integrated seamlessly with SRF production.

We also crafted the commercial frameworks and negotiated key contracts, laying the foundations for project delivery while balancing technical requirements with practical feasibility.

The work established a clear and robust basis for progressing to detailed design and delivery.

By aligning processing technology with building infrastructure and constructing clear commercial pathways, PWCL enabled Biocentre Technology to move forward confidently toward implementation of these innovative waste-to-fuel facilities.
