Project Background
PWCL was commissioned by Lazard to carry out a comprehensive technical review of the DBE Energy anaerobic digestion (AD) facility in Surrey.
The project focused on assessing the performance of the existing plant, while also considering its potential to expand operations in the future.
What we did
Our review covered all key stages of the facility, from the initial depackaging process through the anaerobic digestion systems, gas clean-up, and grid entry.
The assessment also included analysis of operational performance and efficiency, ensuring that the plant’s current output was measured against its long-term potential for scaling up with increased feedstock.
PWCL delivered a detailed technical report that provided Lazard with a clear understanding of the plant’s operational strengths, areas for improvement, and capacity for future expansion.
This work ensured that stakeholders had the evidence and insights required to make informed decisions about the plant’s long-term viability and investment potential.
